Nobody (Rehearsal 11/28/18)

We have another video out, this time of us practicing "Nobody" for future shows. Nobody is one of our Waking Dream song favorites and seems to be highly favored among SoundCloud musicians and music lovers who know our music.

The video above was the 7th and final take for the evening rehearsal. It turned into quite the extended version of Nobody and into a jam we could both stand to post. .

In even better news, we just so happened to record a second video with a different camera. The sound quality is not as good during this take (Take 1) of the same rehearsal.  In this video (which is also the shorter version) you get to see closeup how Lyra plays "Nobody." I'm not going to spoil it for you but feel free to take a look at both videos  to see how we would play out at venues (it's on the to-do list) and to see how Waking Dream improvises and jams to this particular track.

Dear Diary,

Oh, how lovely it is. Sunshine and fresh air. The flowers and the trees. The bushes and the wind. And that darling tornado over yonder headed my way. Ravishing! Simply stupendous! Oh look at the low hanging clouds and that beautiful green sky. So powerful! So threatening!  I could watch it spin all day. 

Oh dear, what was that? There seems to be the sound of a train in the distance. Where's Dorothy when you need her? 

Oh crap! And my house now seems to have a large hole in it, but it is a ravishing hole just the same. Simply lovely. Okay, well, gotta go and call that home owner's insurance. 

Oh shit. It appears that I only have one arm. Well, perhaps I can use my other arm to dial 911, instead of writing in this damned diary. Anyways, talk to you soon, if I don't bleed out first. If I do not bleed out, I will invest in a new robot arm to go with my smiling moon face.
