HEXES and PRAYERS

A day too short for hexes
A day to0 tall for prayers
A day too short for hexes
A day to0 tall for prayers

..........................................

What now, what now
They look, they look
and then, and then
words cut

A pause to a promise
unanswered-all silent
What can be said
There is no dawn

It could, It could,
could have been said
Ashes remain,
for my sadness to spread

.................................

Velvet red pouch,
blood soaked dread,
what now, what now,
what happens now?

Lips like grinders,
3 tongues that spin
The fangs come out,
and the spikes sink in

......................................

A day too short for hexes
A day to tall for prayers
A day too short for hexes
A day to tall for prayers

Lips like grinders,
3 tongues that spin
The fangs come out,
and the spikes sink in

........................................

A day too short for hexes
A day too tall for prayers
A day too short for hexes
A day too tall for prayers

........................................

Lips like grinders,
3 tongues that spin
The fangs come out,
and the spikes sink in

What now, what now
They look, they look
and then, and then
words cut

........................................

It could, It could,
could have been said
Ashes remain,
for my sadness to spread

Lips like grinders,
3 tongues that spin
The fangs come out,
and the spikes sink in

........................................

A day too short for hexes
A day too tall for prayers
A day too short for hexes
A day too tall for prayers

........................................

(Pause)

No further down this road
No distance shall I go
To uncover grave horrors
that one should never know
