Nobody (Rehearsal 11/28/18)

We have another video out, this time of us practicing "Nobody" for future shows. Nobody is one of our Waking Dream song favorites and seems to be highly favored among SoundCloud musicians and music lovers who know our music.

The video above was the 7th and final take for the evening rehearsal. It turned into quite the extended version of Nobody and into a jam we could both stand to post. .

In even better news, we just so happened to record a second video with a different camera. The sound quality is not as good during this take (Take 1) of the same rehearsal.  In this video (which is also the shorter version) you get to see closeup how Lyra plays "Nobody." I'm not going to spoil it for you but feel free to take a look at both videos  to see how we would play out at venues (it's on the to-do list) and to see how Waking Dream improvises and jams to this particular track.

The Meadow (New SoundCloud Demo) *Link Here*

    "The Meadow" is a new demo track with medieval aesthetic, recorded tonight and immediately     posted on SoundCloud after.

It's not perfect, but it's worth the listen. We're proud of what we've created and when the official version is released, it'll be even better. When the official version is released it'll be included on the EP, "Pitchforks are for Pilgrims."

Also coming soon, the track "Nine Death Angels," (a collaboration with the artist K-Effect.

New Wordpress Webpage & the SoundCloud Community of Doom

So, we should probably mention that a Wordpress webpage is now in development. So far, it is just that: a development. However, it officially contains our videos, links to our tracks and well written web content.

We're feeling super accomplished at the moment, even though it's going to take a lot of catching up to do, to get Wordpress to the level that BlogSpot is currently at.

We hope you enjoy this brand new release of our 2017 album "Stink Beetles and Sprites." Mostly dealing with thematic mentions of the paranormal, and mental illness, its sound routinely meshes between psychedelic experimental noise and witch house electronica. It is uniquely distinct from that of "Cannibal Fae" because its sounds delves less into the genre of Gothic Folk Rock and more into that of Gothic Electronica. All songs included are of the experimental variety and all have helped us expand our horizons on a foundational level.
